Our Brides

Laura wanted two looks for her City Centre wedding at 'On The Seventh' Bar in Salford Quays, Manchester. She walked down the aisle with the stunning soft tulle over layer with lace embellishments and scalloped edge trim. For her first dance she removed the over skirt to reveal a classic mermaid lace sweetheart gown underneath.

'I want to say thank you to Erica for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day. After searching for months for the dress that was in my head but never in the shops, you made my dream dress a reality. You are so lovely, so talented and so honest. Thank you for everything xxx'

Karon booked her wedding ceremony at St James' church in Shere where Cameron Diaz filmed 'The Holiday', which was built in 1190! Her dream dress was her 'something blue' which matched her gorgeous blue topaz and diamond engagement ring. The fitted bodice had an illusion neckline with lace embellishments, long lace sleeves and a soft layered chiffon skirt which complemented the lace trimmed cathedral length veil.

'I would just like to say a very BIG thank you to my dress maker (designer) Erica Stacey who worked very hard over the months leading up to my wedding day. Erica you made my dream come true, I loved my dress as did all of my family and friends'

Lizzie tried on lots of dresses in wedding boutiques and decided she would never find her dream dress on the high street. She had set her heart on a lace embellished bodice with a tulle skirt. The final design was light and comfortable which was perfect for her wedding in the beautiful Tuscan village of Palaia.

"I just wanted to send you a big thank you my dress. It got a brilliant reaction on the day and a lot of positive comments on Facebook/Instagram even from people I don't know...I've just recommended you to a friend who's looking for a wedding dress maker in Manchester.. word's got around about what an amazing job you did on mine!"

Zoe opted for a tailored bespoke ivory crepe jumpsuit as she’d never been a dress wearer. She wanted to feel elegant and feminine on her wedding day and so a suit was not an option. The wide legged pants with pleated pockets complemented the fitted bodice with lace detailing at the neck and the self fabric covered belt pulled her in at the waist.

"As soon as I put my bespoke jumpsuit on at my first fitting I was in love and it wasn't even finished! I had never felt like that in any clothes I had ever worn before and have never had so many positive comments on how I looked. Special thanks to the brilliant and talented Erica, without her I don't know what I would have worn but it wouldn't be anywhere near as classic, elegant and beautiful. I would recommend Erica and her team to anyone like me looking for something just right. I cannot thank Erica Stacey Bridalwear enough xxxx"

Make-up artist Harriet wanted a vintage inspired wedding gown in an alternative colour for her Liverpool city centre wedding. The delicate shade of blush tulle and lace looked stunning against her auburn hair and English rose complexion.

"I cannot thank you enough for making me a dress that made me feel so beautiful. I am so grateful for your patience and understanding in each and every fitting/ email that I had/ sent. It has been the greatest pleasure seeing my dress come to life from sketch to dress, what an extraordinary talent. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Carolyn wanted a less traditional wedding dress with a sprinkling of Hollywood glamour. The gown was made in a beautiful heavy blush pink duchess satin with a lace up corset back to flatter her hour glass figure. The hem of the removable train was embellished with gold beaded embroidery. An ivory faux fur stole completed the look. Kate Hill created a bespoke feather head dress and bouquet incorporating fabrics and trims from the wedding dress. The ceremony took place at the original Art Deco Stockport Plaza, followed by a honeymoon on the stunning Queen Mary 2 cruise ship.

" We had a fabulous time and everyone thought my gown was A-MAZ-ING. The fur wrap set it off beautifully. Thank you so much again for all your hard work designing and making the gown."

Lulu's design was a boho-inspired lace wedding gown for her woodland wedding. The drapey liquid satin lining used on this dress has a tulle overlayer with lace embellishments. A hand made floral crown and oversized rose in blush pink organza completed the look. Lulu was able to remove her tulle train for her evening reception. They had a pagan/humanist ceremony in Cannock forest, Staffordshire followed by a festival themed reception in a tipi.

"Erica was so amazing to work with. Having my dress made was such a fabulous process; seeing your dress being brought to life from simple sketches. Erica made the gown, cape, head piece and detachable train so I could dance the night away!"

Tahera wanted a lightweight lace wedding gown for her destination beach wedding in Thailand. The challenge was to construct a fishtail silhouette proportionate to her petite 4ft 11" figure. The delicate guipure lace edge trim finished the neckline and edge of train perfectly.

"I need something light and airy, but at the same time, looks like it's supposed to be a wedding dress and not something that you could wear normally. I will not be wearing heels, as it's on the beach so will be a barefoot wedding..."

Tilly said 'I do' in a bespoke sequinned lace ivory wedding gown to her childhood sweetheart. The gown had a hidden corset inside the bodice whilst the skirt had a long floaty chiffon train, which was perfect for her boho festival feel wedding.

"Yay! My wedding happened and it was magical in every way! Just wanted to thank you again for my incredible dress - which has endless comments of love, and all your loveliness in the lead up to my wedding!"

Dani was inspired by an image on a blog of an evening gown and knew it was the ideal shape for her. She wanted a non traditional shaped wedding gown for her big day in Ibiza. A combination of a beautiful sheer lace back, three quarter sleeves and a high-low hemline was the perfect solution.

"Thank you, I felt perfect on the day"

Kristina needed a dress for her Russian wedding at very short notice. The gown was made using a rich heavyweight porcelain duchess satin: this simple silhouette shape proved that sometimes less is most definitely more!

"Everyone loved my dress at the wedding which was held in Russia: I felt like a Princess for the day! My mother-in-law was very impressed with my wedding dress and also chose Erica to design a dress for her wedding in September 2017! I couldn't recommend Erica Stacey enough!"
